CHS Senior Prom

Lucky me, I was asked to take picts of my daughter and her friends before they headed off to their Junior/Senior Prom. We were lucky enough to also get a break in the weather and had cloudy skies but no rain!

The theme for the night was a masquerade ball. My daughter's friend made these masks for her. The kids were thrilled that they turned out so amazing! Thanx to J for sharing your talents!

This was a great group of kids. They all seemed to get along great and ended up having a fabulous night together.

I love taking picts of my own kiddos. It is fun to play with different editing tools to really bring out the shine that each of my kids has inside of them. Plus having a friend there to make her laugh doesnt hurt either! Just can't believe that she is getting so grown up. One more year and she will be the Senior. Time really does fly when you are having fun.

Never ceases to amaze me, no matter how many times I photograph this handsome guy, at how his blue eyes just pop and catch all the attention.

We have had so much rain that the grass and soil was still very saturated with water. All the girls had their heels completely sink. The kids thought up a pretty good solution to that and they were on their way to making wonderful memories with their friends.

Just A Mom With A Camera

We have had our challenges in the last year.  Loss of clients and continued challenges throughout my cancer treatment have put me in the position to need to "close" my doors. I will be returning to what another photographer used to call me  "just a mom with a camera".

I will be dissolving my PMR website and slowly transferring everything over to this site.

I am not giving up photography entirely. You will see posts as often as I can get them here. They will mostly be of my Fine Art work, showcasing my love of life and nature. I will still be willing to do portrait work on an individual request basis.

Thank you to  ALL who have supported me over the last few years. Thank you to all who continue to love my work and the work I have done in the past. Watch for more to come soon!

WORK IN PROGRESS

I have been so extra busy that I haven't been able to post anything for quite awhile. I have been having so much fun with different photography adventures that I have been caught up in editing vs posting. I will be sure to post more very soon.

I am also working on making new improvements to this site. I have a great techincal support team who is going to help me make this site the best it can be! Watch for more changes to come soon!

I would like to take the time to also tell you a little about choosing lifestyle photography. What is lifestyle photography? Just that - photography that reflects YOUR lifestyle. Shoots will be done on a location YOU choose - whether that is in your home doing fun things like making cookies, or playing outside, or going to your favorite treat shop for a family outing, or a high school sports, music, or special interest setting. The sky is the limit because the location will be somewhere that is special to you, doing something you love! Most people's lives also include pets. Your pet is important to you, and makes for lots more adventure and laughter. They are always welcome to join in the fun!

With the location site being individualized, the times for those shoots will also be individualized to take advantage of the best lighting. Early morning, late afternoon and early evening are the very best times for outdoor sessions.

One goal of my style is to reflect the personal side of my clients. Another goal will be to use as much creativity as possible to provide photographs that you will love. Because these photographs will be unique and individualized, they will be a cherished memory.

I am always open to client suggestions and ideas. Looking at other photographer's work is a great way for you and I to get great ideas for your photography experience. Please feel free to bring a list of ideas and poses with you to your session. We will combine our thoughts and ideas to include traditional and non-traditional images.

Photographs will be offered in your choice of color, black & white, and antique sepia. Please watch for my "extras" list for other specialty finishes.

If you are looking for a photographer that will do formal studio shoots, or will do lots of extra tweaks with photoshop or other editing tools, I am probably not the photographer for you. If you are looking for someone to help you capture the joyful moments of your life and family, just as you are, then please do give me a call! You & your family are individual, unique and special, just as you are. I am here to help you capture those every day and extra special moments as you let your inner and outer beauty shine!

Right now, as we are in "remodel" mode, please note that all current pricing information, policies, and site information will be changing. If you would like to reserve a location & time for your lifestyle portrait session, please call me to get the most current information. I should have all of the new information posted very soon. Watch for new information about special offers for military families, adoption families and returning clients!

I am looking forward to this new adventure! I will look forward to finding the joy of life together as we capture your special moments!
