The "E" Family

I got the fun opportunity to take picts at a favorite local farm with these cuties! This gorgeous lady is the mom of this darling tow-headed boy. I was so amazed as I looked through their picts that both of them have the same blonde hair and fabulous, amazing blue eyes.
We had so much fun, and I know that I have found a new Fall shoot site that is going to be awesome for clients!
Thanx again B & C for being so great and asking me to do this for you!!!

I know the lighting is a bit unusual on this one, but it is one of my FAVES!

I totally LOVED both of these shots. The creativity in me just says "YES!" when I see images come together like this. I esp love this top one because it is going to rock for a Christmas card and that it really showed the great "antique" setting we were in!

A BEAUTIFUL FRIEND

This lovely lady is a dear friend and the mom of the darling family in the images below. Her joy that comes from her family is very evident in the bubbly laughter that flows from her. I was the lucky one to get to capture some of her, and her sweet family's, joyful moments. Thanx S for letting me share such a great time with you! Hope you had as much fun as I did!

I got the fun opportunity to do this shoot for my sweet friend and her way too cute family. She has got the most adorable, strikingly beautiful girls! It was so fun for me to just follow them around and capture their sweet personalities and their bubbly energy. You guys were so wonderful and patient! Thanx tons for asking me to do these for you. Hope you enjoy them. More coming soon!

UMBRELLA FUN

All these kiddos and umbrellas just got my creative thoughts winging - just had to play and share a little bit more!

FAMILY MEANS LAUGHTER

Family time becomes even more special when it is filled with laughter. This little one has brought lots of that into our family. She loves playing with her daddy and she loves her sissy more than words can express.

I had the pleasure of running into a previous client while at a local pumpkin patch. She had her cute little guy all snuggled on her lap. Another family was also with them. They also had a cute little boy. It was great to take some candid shots of their way too fun rainboots, but also to capture the sweet moments of families spending time together. Thanx K family (and friends) for letting me capture a few beautiful moments of you!

ABOUT ME:

We all have an inner child who loves to laugh and play. That person who we are inside is the whole reason for my work.

I find that my photography reflects the laughter and play of all of the children who surround me (I am a mom of SIX kiddos) They often find themselves the subjects of my work because of all their antics and adventures. Those real moments are the ones that forever stay ingrained in my mind and on my heart.

I find that because of the joy of having my loving, supportive husband and beautiful children that I look for that joy and beauty in everything around me. I look at everything as though my eyes were my camera, trying to capture the exquisite moments of a sunrise, the delicate dewdrop on a leaf, the faces made from riotous laughter from a good joke, or the mischievous grin of a 2 year old. I find that as my children grow, those every day moments quickly fly by, and I am always thrilled to capture those little moments with my camera.

I work hard to ensure that my photo sessions are a time to find that special, beautiful place inside you, whether you are a child of 5 or 95. Together, we will spend our time creating an enjoyable experience, as well as beautiful photographs that are unique and reflect the joy and fun of your special session.

My work is centered in lifestyle photography, capturing the creativity and individuality of every day life, and all of life’s extra special moments. If you are looking for a photographer who will do studio, or formal images, I may not be the right photographer for you.

Customer service is a top priority and I will do all I can to provide my clients with the best possible experience.The world is full of joyful, beautiful moments. All those little moments are what make life wonderful. I will look forward to sharing all of those special, beautiful moments with you.

PMR Policies

Payment is due at the time of the session for all non-wedding packages.
Weddings will require a $250 non-refundable deposit to book the wedding date. The package fees will be due in full 2 weeks prior to the scheduled date. I currently accept cash or cashier’s checks.
*A RUSH order can be requested on any package or session. An extra $50 will be applied. Images will be processed and returned to you in 2 weeks or less.
*A fee of $10 will be applied on top of mailing costs for any images or CD’s that need to be delivered by U.S. mail.
*Last minute sessions can be requested. I am happy to accomodate special needs. Please know that a 20% surcharge will be added to the session price to allow me to make special arrangements with my own family.
*Photography portrait sessions reserved outside of 30 miles will be subject to travel expenses. Please contact me for individual location pricing.
*Please allow 3 weeks for your images to be posted, processed and received. This time frame allows me to sort and edit all of the very best images from your special session. All finished images will be placed on a keepsake CD and will be held in our archives for one year.

All images posted on this site are the property of PhotoMomentsbyRory and its clients. Please be respectful and honest by not downloading, copying or printing these photographs in any form without written permission from the owner. I reserve the right to use images for display, advertising, or on any of my photography sites. If you do not wish for your images to be used for these purposes, please tell me at the time of booking and I will be glad to honor your request.

All policies and pricing are subject to change without notice. Pricing at the time of booking will be honored.

The Details:

*The location of the session is completely up to you!

*I offer a digital collection of your images. This is an extra bonus since most photographers only offer this as an expensive extra. You will be given a copyright release to use the images for personal use only. You will have the freedom to order prints in the sizes you need and love. If you are interested in images to help support your own business please see my pricing list for corporate rates.

*I do some minor editing with a combination of color, B&W, antique, and other color enhancements. If there are any of these that you are not interested in, please let me know at the time of the session.

*Digital Collections will usually be completed and to you within 3 weeks. This time can be extended depending on how many sessions I have sceduled at one time. I will always do my best to keep in contact with you if it will be outside this window.

*If you are scheduling a newborn session, it is best to schedule your session before the baby arrives. The 1st 2 weeks are perfect for posing your new little one in all those darling, sleepy positions.

*If you are scheduling a newborn session remember to be ready for surprises and to expect the unexpected. Be assured that this is a time for “ooh’s and aah’s”. It will also be a time for “oops or oh, no!” because your baby has just spit up on you or is oblivious to the fact that he/she is not wearing a diaper, or “excuse me”, because the baby needs to eat right NOW.We will take our time and enjoy all these moments together with no stress and no pressure.Parents, please have black shirts. It is something classy and simple that will give us great shots and keep our focus on your new little one. Please do feel free to bring an extra change of clothes for the “oops” moments as needed.

*If you are scheduling a session for your your child/children be prepared to just let them be themselves. Your child should feel relaxed and comfy. I always make time at the beginning of the session for me and little people to get to know each other before we get started. Feel free to bring your child’s favorite toy, blankie, sports equipment, etc. These items help your child to be comfortable and to create extra special images.We want to have a fun time together. Please do not bring your child if they are ill, unusually grumpy or uncooperative. We can re-schedule for the following week at no extra charge. If the session needs to be re-scheduled later than a week, I work with clients on an individual basis, though re-scheduling fees may be applied.

*Seniors! Your session is all about YOU! It will include the clothes you like and the things and places you love. If you don’t have somewhere special in mind, please let me know if you would like an urban or rural setting at the time you schedule your session.

*If you are scheduling a family session, the big question is always “what to wear?” It doesnt have to be complicated, anything that you love and are comfy in is great! Something unique, personal, natural and simple. Plain, neutral colors with colorful accents such as scarves, hats, hairbands, jackets or jewelry are another fun idea – esp with a large group. Bare feet and jeans are a family favorite as well. Textured clothing like denim or knits and coordinating colors make for great images. Everyone doesn’t have to look extactly the same, the main goal is to try for similar shades and tones. Pets are often important parts of a family, and they are always welcome to join in the fun too!

*Outdoor locations give the opportunity for various poses and settings. Best times of day for outdoor shoots are early morning or late afternoon. If these times don’t work well, somewhere that can provide good shade is important to keep away heavy shadows.

*If you choose your home as an indoor location for your session, a quick tour on my arrival will help me find the best lighting and setting for your pictures.

*I will fill our time with mixing traditional and non-traditional poses. I really love to know what my clients ideas are. If you have something specific in mind, feel free to bring ideas with you. We will combine our great ideas and make your session extra special!

*Most of all, come with the plan to have FUN, and to just be you. Together we will have a great time creating wonderful images and memories!

Special Note:
*Most photographers do not offer a CD of images, or charge several hundred dollars to allow you to purchase your images on top of ordering prints. I have done my very best to keep sessions and packages affordable and offer a little bit of both worlds. Customer service is very important to me. I want to help you capture all the wonderful moments of your special day and know that I have always given 110%.

*Times included in packages are for the wedding day only. Travel time is not counted towards the time in the pacckages. Extra travel fees will apply if wedding events are booked outside of 60 miles.

*All prints are done at a professional lab

*A no-charge bridal consultation is included with every wedding package. This will be the time to talk about your special day and to go over the wedding photography contract.

*A non-refundable deposit of $250 is due at the time of booking to hold the wedding date. This deposit is outside of the price of the wedding packages. It secures my schedule for your special day.

*Once the deposit is paid, a package contract needs to be completed and signed within 30 days. Half of the package price will be due at the time the contract is signed.*Full payment for a wedding package is due 2 weeks before the scheduled wedding date.

*Standard delivery for wedding images is 1-2 months. If I cannot provide images in that time, I will always be willing to add in some “extras” to say thank you and reward you for your patience.

*I accept cash or cashier’s checks

*All pricing is subject to change without notice. Pricing at the time of booking will be honored for all photography sessions.

*I do not not offer photography services on Sundays.

*Just A Little Reminder:You have made an investment in asking me to capture the special memories of your wonderful day. Friends and family will be there to honor you and I know they will be excited to capture special moments too. Please know they are welcome to take all the pictures they they want after I am finished with each set of poses..

**Extra Photography Services - 1 hour of photography coverage can be added to any package: $100

Travel expenses will be applied outside of 30 miles for non-wedding package sessions. Pets are always welcome to join in the photo fun, so be sure to ask me when you book your session.
